Together with his team, Dr. Fries is developing Skilled Labor Monitors across Europe – which enable organizations and governments to establish future-oriented workforce strategies grounded in data. He is also involved in diverse projects including on the (future) labor skills requirements across various German industries as well as the economic and employment impact of specific sectors throughout Latin America.
Dr. Fries holds a PhD in labor economics and previously worked at the German Council of Economic Experts. He also taught as a lecturer at the University of Applied Labor Studies in Mannheim.
