About WifOR
The independent economic research institute WifOR is a spin-off of the Technical University of Darmstadt. Since our foundation in 2009, we have been translating economic analyses into a basis for decision-making – in the areas of the labor market, sustainability and health. Our mission: to use studies to develop data-based solutions for the requirements of the labor market, to set global standards in sustainability measurement and to make the importance of health investments visible worldwide. WifOR employs over 75 people in Germany, Greece, Latin America and the USA.
In this role, you will lead of a team of six researchers (junior to senior level) within our Impact Analysis research field.
Your tasks
- Together with your team, you will work on projects within our Impact Analysis research field and drive the development of project management in the department
- You ensure compliance with company standards and guarantee the achievement of set goals
- You motivate and encourage team members and participate in the recruitment of new employees for the department in close coordination with the department head
- Ensure that team members are able to continuously develop their professional skills and scientific competencies
- You manage the knowledge generated by the team and make it easily accessible to other stakeholders
Your profile
- You have a Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- You have already gained initial experience as a manager or in leading a team
- You have excellent communication skills in German and English
- You pride yourself on your ability to deal effectively with complex and new issues
- You have a proven ability to proactively lead processes and manage projects under strict deadlines
