About WifOR

Based on sound empirical analyses, the Labor Market Research division deals with a wide range of labour and social policy issues in Germany and abroad.
Your tasks
- Conducting scientific analyses in the areas of labor market and social policy
- Independent processing and management of research and consulting projects in the fields of
- Demography, digitalisation & future skills
- Socio-ecological transformation
- Diversity & inclusion
- Assistance in the development of dashboards and software tools in the field of labour market research
- Communicating and presenting the project results to our national and international clients
- Participation in the preparation of offers and the initialisation of new projects
Your profile
- Interest in working in the field of practice-oriented economic research
- Completion of a business-oriented university degree with an empirical focus (economics, business informatics, data science, social sciences or similar)
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Confident handling of Microsoft 365 applications and statistical software (e.g. R, Python)
- Willingness to learn (on the job), curiosity and openness to new things
- Relevant professional experience in practice-oriented scientific work
- As a senior researcher,: experience in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary projects and teams
