FRAX is a labor market index that provides detailed reporting on short and medium-term developments in the labor market. On the basis of 5 categories – employment development, access opportunities, income situation, training, working conditions – and 18 indicators, a differentiated and intuitive analysis of the labor market is possible.
Representative surveys were conducted to weight the categories and indicators. The indicators are compiled on the basis of publicly available and official databases. They are updated on a quarterly basis.
The aim of this cooperation with the Frankfurter Rundschau is to prepare information for business journalists in such a way that connections become clear. The basic idea behind the new labour market index is that the unemployment and employment figures alone do not permit a meaningful evaluation of the German labor market.
