Berlin, Germany Dr. Malina Müller presented WifOR Institute’s findings on the socioeconomic burden of migraine and joined a discussion on primary care and treatment coordination in Germany. Migraine is not only a medical condition, but also an economic challenge. WifOR’s research shows that migraine was associated with around €557 billion in lost economic value in Germany between 2011 and 2021. Most of these losses occur within the working population, largely due to reduced productivity and missed work.
